Integrated Engineering (Grades 1-5)
Engineering and Computer Science Essentials™:
An Integrated Program Grades 1-5
EiE’s New Engineering and Computer Science Essentials™: An Integrated Program shows how science, engineering and computer science practices work together to help learners in life, to demonstrate similar foundations for design challenges, and to promote access, equity, and excellence in fun and engaging classroom lessons. Linked by storybook characters and grade-level appropriate concepts, our program creates a world where students can travel from engineering to computer science units seamlessly.
Resources for Diverse Learners
Diverse students. Diverse needs. Open up access for all learners. As a set of high impact resources, the Resources for Diverse Learners are designed to help remove distractions and decrease literacy demands so that all students can succeed in engineering and problem solving. Built-in vocabulary support, suggestions for objects to create context and background; multiple points of entry for different learning styles; and multiple ways for learners to express understanding meet the needs of today’s diverse classroom.
